Kate is a law graduate and highly experienced Senior Family Law Paralegal. Having worked within family law teams across Hampshire throughout her career, she has developed a strong understanding of the legal, practical and emotional challenges clients face during separation and other family difficulties.
Kate combines meticulous attention to detail with a calm, pragmatic and empathetic approach. She is particularly skilled at supporting clients through complex and emotionally charged situations, ensuring they feel listened to, fully informed and supported at every stage.
A particular strength of Kate’s work is her careful preparation and analysis of evidence. She has extensive experience reviewing financial disclosure and Form E documentation, identifying inconsistencies and highlighting matters that may require further investigation. She is also skilled in drafting witness statements, taking time to ensure that they reflect each client’s voice while presenting their evidence clearly, accurately and persuasively.
Working closely with the firm’s solicitors, Kate supports cases throughout court proceedings and assists with the development and preparation of case strategy. She has considerable experience preparing court bundles and takes pride in producing documents that are accurate, well organised and easy for clients, solicitors and the court to navigate.
Kate also conducts initial meetings and discovery calls for prospective clients. She takes time to understand the circumstances that have led someone to contact the firm, identify the nature of the assistance they may need and explain how Just Family Law may be able to support
Kate has a particular interest in supporting individuals who have experienced domestic abuse. She understands how difficult it can be for vulnerable clients to talk about their experiences and is committed to helping them feel heard, understood and empowered as they move forward.
Above all, Kate values the strong relationships she builds with clients. Her approachable manner, honest communication and practical support help clients feel reassured and confident that their case is being handled with care.
Outside work, Kate enjoys craftwork and design, skiing and spending time with her family. She lives near Romsey and hopes one day to own a horse again.
