Helen has been an integral part of Just Family Law since 2013. As the firm’s Finance Manager, she oversees its day-to-day financial administration, ensuring that everything is managed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with the requirements applicable to a regulated law firm.
Helen is responsible for preparing and issuing bills and invoices, recording payments and maintaining accurate financial records. She works closely with the solicitors and wider team to ensure that clients receive clear and timely information about their accounts. She is often the first point of contact for practical billing and payment enquiries, which she handles in a calm, helpful and approachable manner.
Before joining Just Family Law, Helen worked as a financial software developer, giving her a strong technical background and a practical understanding of financial and IT systems. She remains the team’s first port of call for initial IT support—particularly when technology is refusing to cooperate—and also provides administrative and case-management support whenever required.
With more than a decade’s knowledge of the firm, its clients and its systems, Helen’s organisation, reliability and attention to detail make her a key member of the team and help to keep the firm running smoothly behind the scenes.
Outside work, Helen enjoys travelling and spending time with her family. She can also regularly be found walking her new dog, who has ensured that her daily step count has never been higher.
